This horn is very rare. It is an early 60's Olds Opera and wow, is this thing every well made!! Some say that many pro builders copied Olds and sons design and ask them for assistance. This horn was the Olds top of the line symphonic horn with the .468 bore, slightly larger. The valves are tight and fast and the tone and intonation on this horn are great........the brassdealer is selling it for $850. I have seen only one or two of these around and if you are an Olds lover like me, you might want to grab this horn for you collection or as a player. this horn compares to the Monette Chicago when it plays..the valves are new and the compression is great.
